From 60/4 (17.4 overs) to 278/8 (50 overs). So that’s why Aus is my favorite team.
Brilliant partnership of 141 between Maxwell and Marsh 141 for 5th wicket and Faulkner 50 from 24 balls did the trick for Aussies.

No idea who won.
When Finch was dismissed, the Aussies did not send anyone to protect Smith. He came in and started doing his thing. Kohli take note. If you are good enough, you just have the courage to go in. Don't play with Rayadu s career so you get to come in with ball 15 overs old.
Smith moves towards off stump for every delivery. So while lbw is a threat, not a single delivery rapped him on the pads. What a confident batsman.
Brad "Haiyden" ran Marsh out - not very smart.
As stated elsewhere, Faulkner could be the difference maker. Accelerates at will. This Aussie side is confident.
But did they peak too early.

So maybe people are too hard on their own batting as Sid pointed out.
When conditions favored bowlers, the Aussies tied themselves into knots and fell to 66 for 4. Shoaib Akhtar was critical of the English bowlers not being aggressive - no bouncers to intimidate.
Maxwell may have sealed his place. Making it difficult for Watson.
Morgan a duck. In terrible form.
Other than Australia, this is anybody tournament. Toss will be crucial. When the ball moves and or bounces, it's not just indians and Pakistanis - everyone seems to perish.
