Re: England v Australia, 5th Investec Test, The Oval
A heavy pheinty on the cards for England. possibly an innings defeat (provided Aus enforce the follow on. The bowlers have had rest now and they should enforce it)

The 5th Test of the Ashes. England 107 for 8.
Re: England v Australia, 5th Investec Test, The Oval
How could the Aussies not pick Swinging Siddle? What is going on here?
Re: England v Australia, 5th Investec Test, The Oval
England has never beaten Australia by a margin of 4-1 (let alone 5-0) at home and that record is going to stay. Australia on the other hand has won three Ashes at home 5-0

Hindsight is 20/20 but Siddle should probably have played on the 'English' wickets at Edgbaston and Old Trafford
Re: England v Australia, 5th Investec Test, The Oval
England 149 all out. Follow on
31/1 in 2nd innings
Cant understand why Lyth has palyed in all five tests with a high score of less than 20 in these tests. If it was Pakistan we would have had accusation of "PARCHEE". Lets hope he is opening for England in UAE.
Re: England v Australia, 5th Investec Test, The Oval
In think Lyth will be dropped after the Ashes. England are likely to play two spinners in UAE, Mooen Ali and Adil Rashid with Cook and Ali opening the batting
Re: England v Australia, 5th Investec Test, The Oval
Match looks very much in Australia grip.
Re: England v Australia, 5th Investec Test, The Oval
Hoping for PARCHEE Lyth and others to pry open the grip

I have yet to come across a team that can match Hindsight's perfect record.
