England players need Mommies

Wow. I mean, are they complete babies. Since they can’t have their mommies, they will take their wives and GFs shoulders to cry on. I know being a married man myself, that being away sometimes is too tiring on the nerves, but really the women are nothing but a distraction.

ENGLAND BANK ON FEMININE TOUCH!

Re: England players need Mommies

Englands are bunch of spoiled lots, continue to get undue attention of media simply because they are "Britons" in Cricket world.

Wives accompanying the players in long tours is nothing new in Cricket, in fact many Cricket boards including BCCI, in past, have allowed this in consent with players.

I guess, BBC has succumbed to such news due to genuine lack of good news for their team since past few days.

Re: England players need Mommies

Only yesterday, although ages ago, I have recalled some unclear images from memory of some of the wives of our own cricketers, sitting in those balconies wearing their most-expensive shades, and that too, seated as far apart from each other as possible. The likes of Mrs. Waqar, Mrs. Akram, Mrs. Lateef and/or Mrs. Khan, whenever they were in capacity, hardly posed for a smile or two whenever they were captured on camera.

But coming back, the camera-men in the World Cup and their idea of getting thrills; barely a week ago, they decided to collectively wet whatever clothing they could get their hands on and in the middle of the game, started focusing their aim towards that one swimming pool built on the outskirts of the ground where everyone and their spouses had come in to spent the day. After every ball, for two to three overs on trot, their equipment would automatically nose-dive into the swimming pool. Some of the people had even left the premises after a while on not wanting to gain the unnecessary attention. That was just something. I had thought that perhaps the Discovery Channel had paid a handsome amount of money to the producers to try and capture anyone and anything that moves under-water.
