I’ve listed some ferry sites giving details of routes/fares to and from England. (cost wise direcferries are good).
Ferries
As for scenic routes, i have many, but if your knowledge of England is scarce, i recommend you have a browse of the below site and have a read. One of my fave scenic routes is the A57, its begins east of Sheffield and continues all the way to liverpool, which is where u can get a ferry from to Dublin, Ireland, fares per person inc. tax and charges start from as little as £55.
