we r going to england for 10 days and want to visit ireland and scotland also. we will be arriving at london, and visiting places there for 2 days. we then want to go to ireland for a couple of days, and from there to scotland and then back to london. does anyone know the places to visit and route to take and the best mode of transportation and also good hotels we can use?
Re: england/ireland/scoland
so when u say 10 days in england, u mean 10 days in Britain right?
Re: england/ireland/scoland
well yes, lets say 10 days out of canada?
i just found out that it's best to rent a car at london and take it on the ferry to ireland. don't know nothing about scotland yet though.
Re: england/ireland/scoland
I'll post some info. for ya later this evening.
Re: england/ireland/scoland
thank you .... can u post some good scenic routes to take? we will probably just rent a car, if my mother is up to the challenge of driving on the wrong side of the road!
Re: england/ireland/scoland
shall do.
Re: england/ireland/scotland
I’ve listed some ferry sites giving details of routes/fares to and from England. (cost wise direcferries are good).
Ferries
As for scenic routes, i have many, but if your knowledge of England is scarce, i recommend you have a browse of the below site and have a read. One of my fave scenic routes is the A57, its begins east of Sheffield and continues all the way to liverpool, which is where u can get a ferry from to Dublin, Ireland, fares per person inc. tax and charges start from as little as £55.

As for places of interest, i recommend a book titled “The most amazing places to visit in Great Britain”, and can be purchased from www.readersdigest.co.uk
