Re: Engineering Disciplines Selection
I had some friends in the NUST mechatronics program. One thing though, while the discipline is very good, i.e. a unique blend of electrical and mechanical engineering, many of them didnt find suitable jobs in Pakistan based on their major, and had to deviate into IT or elec. engineering. The latter might seem alright but if you want to work as an Elec E, might as go for that degree instead as your base will be stronger. This is because robotics in Pakistan is as good as nothing, and automation, well theres been some production facilites set up so you might see some use there. The ones that came abroad are going for their masters right now, mostly in robotics and are doing well.
BUT I still think its a better choice than CAE Risalpur!
