You mean the membership to the Pakistan Engineering Council? I dont think it was alot, back in 2000.

NED University of Engineering and Technology charges for BE Rs. 14000/- per year.. and Rs. 1500/- as examination fee per year..

NED also offer differenct scholarships.. for position holder they grant Rs. 5000/- , Rs 3000/-, Rs. 2000/- for 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.. for each year..

2ndly external scholarships are also offered on first come first serve basis for each dept.. falls between Rs. 3000/- to 12000/- per year.

govt run colleges and uni mostly have very nominal fees paid per year or quarterly sometime. its almost like getting free education. i mean it will not be more than 5000 rupees per year.

NUST was around Rs. 5,000 per month back in 2000.

ahan.. thats a useful link, but unfortunately not all those universities mentioned their fee structure on their websites. how annoying is that!
