What do you guys think about non-solitaired, non-diamond engagement rings? So white gold band, with a pretty cluster of other gem stone(s).

personally I think its a pretty trinket … other then that … doesn’t mean much to me … diamond or otherwise …

i LOVE engagement rings. personally if the ring has colored stones and no big diamond in the middle i dont consider it an engagement ring. but thats just me. but obviously if u like those types of rings that can be ur engagement ring. however if u go to a store and ask them to show u engagement rings they would usually show u rings that have diamonds in them- atleast in the west.

To me an engagement ring is whatever the bride-to-be dreamed of her entire life. Seen Sapphire engagement rings and they look lovely. Here was Princess Diana’s
Colored diamonds are GORGEOUS!! but quite pricey. Would love a pink one ~sigh~

I say go straight for the wedding ring, why engagement ring. I love those gold wedding bands… :hinna:
Just make sure you get one lol. I didn't have an engagement party, the rishta was tied up in about a week in a spur of the moment thing and that was it. I had to wait a year before getting mine... :( It's pretty though! It's not diamond, but it suit's my taste!

curious, it doesnt matter what kind of ring a girl gets, a diamond or not, a solitare or not...what matters is that are you happy with it? is it what YOU want? my dad has asked my mom if she wants a diamond ring to replace the engagement ring she got when they got married? she says no. She is very happy with her ring. It is not a diamond ring but it is gorgeous! people till this day ask her who gave her that ring? Hope this helps you in making your decision!
