Can we give the guy a diamond ring? I thought he could only have a silver (plain) band?

And I think diamond is fine as long as its not too much of a bling bling :D

Yea, diamond is really cool. I mean if us girls expect diamond so men have feelings too! :P. I will get a pic of my fiance's ring and post it up. It has 4 diamonds on it (2 on each side) with Alexandrite stone in the middle. Its so cool and he LOVES it! The ring itself is silver!

I wanted to get a watch as well but my mum insisted on giving it on shadi..But i think its entirely upto u...if u really wanna throw in a watch as well..why not ..

Hmmm I see your point. It'd be nice to give it on the engagement, but if you've already given so much at the engagement what is there left to give at the wedding? I personally would save the watch for the wedding and get something really special for the guy.
