hahhahaha to be very very true I wore my engagemnet ring on the engagement day and then later 2-3 times :( I dont dont feel like wearing rings at home because when u work in kitchen or something esle it gets scratches.so me dont wear :(

I didn't get an enagement ring. The wedding ring my in-laws got me and even that I don't wear. Besides, as angel.eyes put it, it gets in the way of household chores. However, when you go out I would definately sugges you wear the engagement/wedding ring. Here in the states, you wear both after marriage.
For my wedding ring - The second day after marriage, one of the center diamonds came right off. I had it fixed and wore it again and then the same day another diamond came off. I gave up wearing it!
To me I wear what's of sentimental value - the jewelry my husband bought me I wear almost every day. I even wear my mother's engagement ring sometimes because it's soo dear to me.

i wore mine few times once on eid and once wen i went out 4 dinner
i couldnt wear mine all the time...its too big ( the diamond and the whole design of it)and it has gotten abit loose im too scared in case i lose it somewher

i wear mine all day with my wedding band - i only take it off when i get home. my finger feels weird without it!

I wear both my wedding and engagement rings every day. I had them fitted to my finger and they are the 'euro' shape and they are super comfortable. Even when working in the kitchen, I only take it off if I have to get my hands into food for mixing with my hands etc.
Peppers - you should take your ring in to a good jeweler. The diamond should never come off like that. My center diamond is set in a tension setting (not embedded, but held by prongs only), and I have worn it swimming, rock climbing, paintballing and numerous other things and have never had to worry. You should get your diamonds reset.

Girl...if it was worth salvaging I would. Basically it's 3 rows of small diamonds. On top of the stones coming out, most of the diamonds have an unflattering yellow tinge to them with big black flecks/inclusions. (pointed out to me by numerous people).

Okay. Besides, as you said, you have a more sentimental attachment to the other jewelry that you got from your hubby at the wedding. You're lucky that you like the stuff that he got you.
Being in the U.S. I can't wear the rest of my wedding jewelry much, and truthfully, most of it was picked out by his mom, so isn't really my style. Again - you're so lucky that he picked out nice ones for you.

i wear mine only on special ocassions or gatherings. not that i dont like it its too big 4 casual wear

i had 2 engagement rings my first one practically sucked i hated it but i stil wore it as it was my engagement ring then we got robbed and it got stolen and tats wen i started feeling bad about hating the ring but then by hubby brought me another one, he picked it out himself and it was a gorgeous 1 carat solitare in whitegold i hav it on til this day at my wedding i got another diomand ring at the ring exchange ceremony and then my hubby gave me a mu dekhai ki ring too all of them r so beautiful i hav them on all the time :)

I hardly wear my engagement and wedding rings but my hubby wears his all the time and would like me to wear mine too, so i am trying to get in the habit of at least wearing it wen we go out.
