Ok question, does the girl side have to give pressies for the guys side for the mangni?
We brought my MIL and SILs some unsown kapra and the guys shirts and my DIL a nice jumper…is that enough?
They have 2 kids so should we get something for them too??
I am so confused because everybody is saying different things like they should buy me my mangni outfit but i got mine myself…
a little advice please about Mangnis in general…

Normally its for shaadi.. but depends on the family. like we gave suits to my MIL,SIL's.shirts to FIL,BIL's... And some other things don't exactly remember...
That's what i thought....that the girls side give pressied to boys side on shadi and not engagement...
But they are giving some suits to me (which in understandable) and some to the rest of my family (i don't know if that is normal or not...)
originally we were jsut going to give my dulha a watch but seeing as they are getting my family gifts (things like shirts) we felt we should get them stuff...
im punjabi and he is urdu so we are not too sure about rasams and lena dena and all that...

i got my outfit and jewelryy frm them, and we gave a suit for him, with shirt, tie n shoes , additional pant n shirt, a cologne set...ring (the ring will be used at the wedding)...
one outfit each to my 3 SILs, one to MIL and one to FIL. and also gave gold earring to my MIL.
Rabia you gave all that on the mangni?! Thats very generouse! What did you give on the Wedding then?
Zara i could ask but then i dont want them to think oh they are only giving stuff because we are...
ia will get them all something...have no idea what to get a 6 month and 3 year old though...any idea? Clothes?

Minnie clothes should b fine for the little kids. Other option i think will b toys but they won't look appropriate.. So as it is Eng func clothing sounds better...
Rabia i think you gave a lot! But it's good to give pressies.Yep Zara guess some little suits and clothes will be nice for the little ones...so another trip to the shops :(
