I just wanted some ideas on what song should be played on the engagement when the girl walks in to the hall to sit. Something to suit an engagement and not wedding

i had sub to soniye sang by fakhir wen i entered hall and after it was played tera mukhra hasin by shehzad roy

depends if u like soft ones, they sound good too. like wen i entered it was the Vivah song, do anjaane ajnabi.... as i luved vivah the movie at tht time my brother had got made ds cassette with vivah songs n sum other songs like Do dil mil rahe hain.... etc etc

Do u need a fast or slowmotion tune.

For engagement I think:
*salame ishq - the title song
we had salame ishq on my friends engagement party as intro song, n me n few other gals did intro dance to welcome them from us. I´ve made a remix with dhol beats in beginning of this song n deleted few bored parts n shorted the song.

bally sagoo - aapki nazron ne samjha
heyy babyy - dholna
humraaz - tune zindagi mein akar
raaz - apke pyar mein
karam - tinka tinka
k3g - suraj hua maddham
dosti - dulhaniya
or just take a nice n beautiful just the tune from a song u like, so its sounds like instrumental.

It def has to be indian. I've not come across any that i would personally want for the engagement.

I think i will most likely setlle for an instrumental as most of the above mentioned are more suitable for wedding due to their lyrics you know?

I did have ek ladki ko dekha to aisa laga in mind. Sounds like something for the mood. Or na kajre ki dhar..

i had the samee dilemma for my engagement.. everything was too pyaar stuff and lovey dovie and very inappropraite... soo... the 2 songs that i thought were nice and cleann were..

mission kashmir... chup ke se sun (Except this small portion of the song in the beginning made me not chose this one.. but its a nice song overall)

and from the movie fanaa "dekho na" or "mere haath meain"

i went with dekho na.. again to make sure the lyrics were appropriate...

Just to let everyone know i walked into na kajre ki dhar by pankaj udhas, went really well!! Was really happy with the song and the way it all turned out. had the hall lights off and every table had 3 candles lit. Was quite nervewracking lol..
