Hi everyone 
so basically I’m getting engaged in about 3 months, and i wanted to know what kind of clothes would be good ? I’m thinking of wearing a white anarkali dress with some work done on it.. i really have no knowledge of what the do’s and don’ts are of what to wear on this day.

that sounds really pretty. it should be fine & heavy/light jora depends upon how big the ceremony will be. no particular dos n donts ,unless there r some family traditions ,like some families dont like brides wearing black etc...
Do find out if ur inlaws will expect u to change into an outfit they bring, because u might as well be wearing it from the beginning otherwise it's a hassle to change after they come.
