Nomi Ansari is a guy. It wil probably cost atleast 50-60k if its not bridal. Bridals are over 1.5 lakhs.
Why don't you wear a pishwaas dress on engagment? it looks so classy.

I would recommend getting somethign made that you can wear later on too since you are gonna be spending alot of money on designer outfit. So if you get somethign that will always be in style that will be smart for the long run. Trouser styles keep changing every year.

Thanks for the advice tammy8604, but no pishwaas for me, i'm very short and petite so it doesn't suit me all that well. I really don't mind about the styles changing since I can always get some shulwar or anything else made later on with it. We're thinking the budget would be under/around 1k USD soo maybe I can still get it lol. Do you know if its possible to have it in my timeline?
my mom was saying to maybe go to zardosis and get an outfit because of the timeline. What do you think? I haven't seen any non-lenghas/ghaghras for them, so I'm a little hesitant!

Nomi Ansari’s collections are available in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Dubai, Chicago, and Singapore. You have to ask him about the specific location, though.

A pretty shalwar kamiz in a silk jamevar with delicate kaam in a nice soft color would be pretty. Switch the shalwar for a churidaar for a different look.

I believe the green outfit is for 110,000 rps and the pink one is for 100,000 rps. These prices were noted back in mid 2008.

Sorry Mahi - I don't have any decent pics from that collection. Although, he has a few pics from a show he did in Chicago, containing some of these outfits on his facebook profile

if you want i wore a long peshwaas style coat and churidaar with a heavy dupatta on my engagement. it was by mohd mehdi and it was in a biscuity/cream color. it was really quite an investment but one that i've already had a chance to wear again this summer. it's also timeless and i know i can pull it out later.
