Re: ENG vs. WI 3rd Test at Old Trafford .... as if anybody cares ...
I can't wait for this TEST series to finish, it's so boring and one sided. Good batting and bowling practice for England ahead of a much sterner test agianst India; which will be a good series to watch.
Re: ENG vs. WI 3rd Test at Old Trafford .... as if anybody cares ...
I really want England to lose because everytime they win their ego's go sky high. They end up making stupid remarks and think they can beat any team in the world.
Re: ENG vs. WI 3rd Test at Old Trafford .... as if anybody cares ...
England 313 all out, Sammy 7-66
WI set an improbable 455 for victory with two full days and 7.3 overs remaining
Re: ENG vs. WI 3rd Test at Old Trafford … as if anybody cares …
Third Test Day 4 (Stumps): Brave fight-back by Windies against all odds
England still favourites but Windies atleast putting up some brave resistance
Windies 301-5, require 154 runs with 5 wickets remaining
Chanderpaul 81* holds the key to Windies chances. If WI do go on to win, they would better their own world record 4th-innings winning total of 418-7 which they set against Australia in 2003

I think England will do 'em later today but what a fightback. ![]()
Re: ENG vs. WI 3rd Test at Old Trafford .... as if anybody cares ...
A not-to-miss earth-shattering last day of a highly memorable test match. The future of world cricket depends on it.
Re: ENG vs. WI 3rd Test at Old Trafford .... as if anybody cares ...
This match is getting interesting
316/6
Re: ENG vs. WI 3rd Test at Old Trafford .... as if anybody cares ...
At lunch WI 379/7
Chanderpaul 104 not out
WI require 76 to win.
So long Chanderpaul is there a brilliant WI victory is on the cards.
Re: ENG vs. WI 3rd Test at Old Trafford .... as if anybody cares ...
while I would enjoy a WI win, it just isnt fun if England keep losing. Its most fun to see them lose after they're all puffed up from winning a series or two and are going about wondeirng if they really are the nicest team in the world and are then creamed and ground into gravel. Thats the England I love.
so I wouldnt mind an English win bearing in mind the big picture.
Re: ENG vs. WI 3rd Test at Old Trafford .... as if anybody cares ...
WI 385/8
Taylor gone to Cook.
Chander still there...
Anybodys game now. 2 wickets for England to win or 70 runs for WI to take it.
Re: ENG vs. WI 3rd Test at Old Trafford .... as if anybody cares ...
koi baat nahi. this way the next series will be more fun.
Re: ENG vs. WI 3rd Test at Old Trafford .... as if anybody cares ...
England won by 60 runs.
Re: ENG vs. WI 3rd Test at Old Trafford .... as if anybody cares ...
^ not bad considering they could easily have lost this test by 300 odd runs
But I really don't understand the wisdom of giving 4 tests to an abysmal WI side and 3 tests to an average Indian side this summer. It should have been the other way around.
