Are there any plans as yet of having a java based interactive replying page, where the users type in Roman-Urdu and it then comes up in Arabic-Urdu on the other end? Being very confessional, I got this idea from mail.rediff.com , where the user types in pure English and it comes out in various different Indian languages. The same idea has also been used in an Urdu educational based website called apniurdu.com .

I woud appricate if the responsible admins and other ppl could also reply together with ordinary members. Thanks.

not a good idea! Roman-urdu is better coz atleast I can read it and ask my friends for what it means. I and many others here cant read that good urdu.

Talk smart … if you know urdu that doesnt mean the rest of the Gupshup community knows! Remember Joe Dirt? Its always the consumer not the seller! If you do bring in this feature, then the guppies should have control over switching this feature on or off.

ppl.. you will be able to toggle the switches to see the roman typing if you cant read the urdu translations ... no one will be hurt in this experiment ....
