Irag is the Enemy of the Day today, right? Who’s next to give a reason for what we do? ( I should say…and excuse…)

So, think about why OBL was never caught…That would have ended the excuse.

I think you mean OBL, not OSB, and he is probably dead.
If he were still alive, he would have put out a new promotional video praising himself and again declaring jihad against america. If anyone thinks otherwise, please state why you think he hasn't put out a new video.
Hopefully he died in immense pain, I'm 100% positive he is burning in hell.
In the last 40 years there have been quite a few that have become an "Enemy of the Day", but how many have the USA actually successfully caught. Fidel Castro of Cuba the US tried to kill many a time (covertly of course), but 44 years later he is still there. Then later you had Ho Chi Minh of Vietnam, but he to eluded them till the end, and his people went onto...well you know what, you all saw those helicopters fleeing from the rooftops. In the 1980's it was the 'dreaded' Ayotollah Khomeini of glorious Iran, but he survived (till his natural death) the American covert and overt plans to dislodge him and his government. If going after the Ayotollah and failing was not bad enough, they went after Mummar Gadhaffi, in fact bombing his home, but failing to kill him, instead killing his daughter. He is still there in Libya 16 years later.
After that Bush Snr went after Saddam Hussein, and publicly asked him "to be set aside", but that to failed. Clinton got into the act and his own "Enemy of day" namely the warlord Mohammed Farrah Aideed of Somalia. After killing hundreds of civilians, including pregnant women, they gave up trying to get him, and went back home. Aideed died later of other war injuries.
After 9/11 it was Osama Bin Laden that became "Enemy of the Day", but dead or alive they did not get him as well, and may never be sure of his final fate. Now its Saddam's turn again...and W is takin' over where Pappa left off, hoping to restore some 'family honour'.

Hrmm, maybe the CIA is running a little late on fabricating a new video of OBL.
I was really trying to make a point. But, was less than successful at doing it.
I would like you all to see that its HATE, not an actually enemy, that IS the true ENEMY.
It doesn't matter who the 'enemy of the day' is. In the end, that wasn't what kept us slaves to those who use war to control us and gain from it.
Almost any conflict talked about here is fueled by Hate, rather than by some objective action by another country.
Sure there are truely crazy people who need to be stopped. But, we can never really know them when they are titled the 'enemy of the day'; because of all the lies and hate that came before.
I remember, before the mass media and the lies, when all of us looked at each other and longed to travel to meet and see the other man's home. Can you remember that?
The enemy is the LIAR, when we see this in our government we should throw them out. Make a law against lieing. Try to get back to sanity.
Start fighting the enemy withing our own governments, and we will find far less fighting amoung countries.
well when OBL was not found, they destroyed Andersen for news bites and cover page stuff. Now you dont hear much about the Enron buddies of W or cheneys haliburton stuff which btw cradiac cheney just asked that the charges be dropped.
who knows whose next as long as something can keep the front page occupied rather than economy and public policy all is well.

The americans claim victory in afghanistan, well that is just lies, taliban and al-qaidah still active, all america did was kill as many innocent as possible and then find another place to kill more muslims. the more the merrier.

Talib_khan..........I think you are missing the point. You think that they are killing just to kill Muslims. They are not. They are killing to keep us distracted while their real motives are carried out. The Muslims are an easy target because they stand in contrast to the mainstream American philosophy.
Don't get over your beleafs. But for goodness sake, get past them so you can help stop this madness!! Its simple devide and conquer. I am not your enemy. I am your brother. I do not beleave the same things you do. But the truth is the same everywhere. As are lies.
NotMT, how do we fight the hate that the United States government is spreading through its lies against country after country. It (this US government) is oblivious to widespread world opinion, and the sufferings of the peoples whose countries it targets e.g Iraq. Is the Bush administration not misleading the American people into endless wars, without any concrete results, and increasing resentment against the US (around the world)?
The lies come in material form. Having had everything a man could want (materially), I realize that non of that can bring happiness or safety.
If it were not for the constant actions by the United States, I would guarantee you that those outside the United States are much happier than 75% of those living in this wealth.
You ask how you can fight the Hate. I don't presume to know exactly how your lives are led. But, I will bet that Greed, Lust and the other five sins are at the root of the problem. Its an illusion that having all the material wealth we have will make your world a better place.
So, I offer this as the 'how'. Stick to your religious beleafs and reject the American Way of Life. Realize that the Hate and Anger comes from the wealthiest of those who try to sell you their ideals. So, what are they really selling? Nothing! They are taking, as you know.
That's not to say that the Constitution of the United States is not something worth imulating. It is a great basis for a free citizenry. I beleave in it and its ability to maintain a free people. Its this curtain of lies and decete that is hurting us.
Back to your question. Stop buying American Garbage, both oral and physical and start ousting those who would sell you and your countrymen out for something that has truely no value.
