Enemies of Pushtoons kidnap Chinese Egineers

Enemies of Pushtoons, the anarchists strike again.

This time they are trying to stop construction of Gomal Dam by holding two Chinese engineers as hostages. These killers of Pushtoons want to sacrifice the whole region for Qaida members. The real threat is to the peace and prosperity of the Pushtoon areas.

Damn these terrorists and the MAToo PiThoos.

Reuter link to the kidnapping

This guy is giving interviews to TV people. He is just digging his own grave. He was released from prison in Afghanistan recently.

So you say that whole Afghanistan is just filled with only Pashtoons and Talibanis?

wtf is going on in the world!!!

This is really sad. Such people cannot be friends of Pakistan, neither its ture citizens who work totally against the interest of the country. China is one country that still understand Pakistan and though over these years since the breakup of Soviet Union and the emerging Indian market, we have seen it tilt towards India; China has been able to balance the situation with grace. I know and I have myself met many Chinese academicians as well as representatives of their army who do make it a point to defend Pakistan on various foras. Now, such despicable acts would ruin our years old friendship with China which has stood the test of times despite some elements from Pakistan's alleged role in the Usghar problem.

Sad really....

The showdown between Pakistan army and the militants came at a price...

ISLAMABAD:One of two Chinese hostages and their five kidnappers were killed Thursday in a rescue operation by army commandos in Pakistan's remote tribal area, while the second hostage was safe, security officials said.

"One is dead. Unfortunately he has succumbed to injuries. One is absolutely safe," Major General Shaukat Sultan told media.

The rescue operation was launched by the army's crack Special Services
Group early Thursday as gunshots were heard from the mud-hut where the hostages were held, sparking fears they were being killed.

Several attempts to negotiate the release of the Chinese engineers in the wild tribal district of South Waziristan, had failed.

It was a hostage rescue operation and not merely a showdown. Now there will be no mercy of Adullah Mahsood and his supporters. He will pay for his criminal activities.

I wish US had hung him in Gitmo. Khas kum Jahan Pak. Our government has been too easy on these terrorists. Now is the time to lockup all these Gitmo returnees and throw the keys away.

Down with the MAToo PiThoos. Down with the terrorists. Now is the time to burn those hills where this terrorist Abdullah is hiding.

We are so sad for the family of the Chinese engineer. He was here to help us build a project. He was here to put us on the path of progress. He was here to assist Pushtoons so that they have more water and electricity.

Damn these tribals. They strapped bombs to his body. Damn these MAToos. They killed him for a bunch of Qaida crooks! Damn these Mujees.

I would like to see for once those people coming out and criticising this shameful act who were vehemently against the Wana operation. Not that I ever thought what went on in Wana and the way our government reacted as a consequence was justified but well, there should be a limit to how far one can go against one's own government. Taking innocent people hostage whether they are civilians or foreigners and making them either scapegoats or using them as shields won't serve the purpose.
I believe this incident has only embolden the government and reinforced their stance that these people can only be flushed out by using force. And I think taking this incident as an example, they seem justified with regard to their position about situtation in Wana.

hahah! "They" would rather bitch and moan about America and Israel. What happens to Pushtoons, and Pushtoon economy is none of their business.

They can always live off the oil wealth in the MAToo land.

You mean Abdullah the terrorist is a wandering sheep? Is this a joke from a Lukhnavi khan collection?

We all know that the slain Chinese engineer was there to help Pushtoons build Gomal dam.

Ohhhh yes, the enimies of Pashtuns, lets talk about our enimies...hmm....now Capt. Matoo, you have every right to ask the agents to bann me when the truth becomes too hard to swallow.

Quick quiz:

Which country is Abdullah from?
Which country did Abdullah grew up in?
In which country did Abdullah get his education?

tik tak tik tak tik tak tik tak....answer those questions and we'll be a little closer to the truth.

Terrorists win, Pushtoons lose. A sad news indeed. Badly needed development work has stopped thanks to the terrorists like Abdullah.

Chinese suspend work on Gomal Zam Dam

ISLAMABAD: Chinese engineers working on the Gomal Dam in South Waziristan have suspended operations until Pakistan provides them with better security, as a result of the recent killing of a Chinese engineer in a militant kidnapping, news agencies reported.

Read full story at Daily Times

Chinese stopped working because of one (minor compared to terrorism faced by other countries)incident? What happend to so-advertised higher than moutain, deeper than sea friendship?

And look how Pakistan is stooping to :
Pakistan has decided to provide $100,000 as compensation to the family of Wang Peng, the Chinese engineer who had lost his life during the hostage-taking episode.
From: http://www.dawn.com/2004/10/18/top4.htm

$100,000 works out to something like 55,00,000 Packee Rupees. 55 Lakhs. I wonder how many Pakistanis who die for their country earn that much for their families when they become shaheed in this or any other fashion? That figure exceeds the lifetime income of a dozen good-earning Pakistanis.

Such an award to a foreigner would not be possible in India without a protracted court battle and that is the difference between India and Pak land. We tend to stick to laws about this. You do things that “appear good in phoren”

**Chinese ‘operatives’ face Pakistani wrath{/B]

Abdullah Mehsood was just released from Guantanamo Bay prison in March 2004. Pakistan should keep a track of those who have been released from GB and Afghanistan.

this guy is not helping the case of all the innocents trapped in Gitmo..

It was in the news that Mr Masood will avenge the death of his terrorist kidnappers by sending suicide bombers to different cities of Pakistan ….

All the people here who were assiduously condemning the Wana operation it is time for them to stop equivocating and understand the grave threat these idiots pose to the Pakistani people.
Wana…..
Never did these people have any affiliation with Pakistan nor will they ever have. The ONLY thing the Pakistani Government has asked them to do is to register themselves and their “So Called” guests with the administration, and they get full amnesty.
But No these people are troublemakers, they stir trouble in Afghanistan and run in to Pakistan for refuge and vice versa.

The Pakistani Government has exhausted every possible option for a peaceful settlement but these tribesmen want to learn it the hard way…

PS: MR AntiObl although I totally aver your opinion, and agree wholeheartedly, It would be nice of you not to use terms such as MATOO’s and PITOO’s . It gives the place a VERY childish shallow and a cheap outlook. I joined GS because of Pakistan and WA forum. I thought some intelligent people come to these forums that can have a discourse in a mature and dignified manner rather then by name calling. :)

The enemies of Pakhtuns are those who at the order of their masters brought islamic fundamentalism and jihadi mentality in an already pauper, illiterate and conservative Pakhtun society. The biggest loosers of the Afghan Jihad has been the Pakhtuns. May Zia burn in hell for evermore!

End of discussion.
