Ending Power Crisis — From pledges to hopes

With polls gone and power in, the 3rd-time Prime Minister has started to make sense. From pledging to end power crisis in 6 months to merely hoping to solve the issue during his present tenure, Sharif has quickly descended from tall claims to plain realities.

While it has always been understandable that the problem will not go overnight, the question is why deceive people with pledges pre-poll and changing stance post-poll without a shade of shame?

Another question, how long the nation will continue to buy empty promises of tested liars?

Zara Sochiye…

Re: Ending Power Crisis — From pledges to hopes

The most important thing to see is that if the government can take the cng and fertiliser mafia (head on) and free up some gas for electricity production. No indication for that can be seen so far. No serious efforts are being made to recover outstanding bills, and to discourage kunda system. The government has gone for the easy route, increase electricity prices and overload those who are paying the bills.

Re: Ending Power Crisis — From pledges to hopes

Ishaq Dar is claiming that he has readied a formula to end circular debt issue on permanent basis. Does it mean double billing every month? Anybody heard about his formula? :@:

Re: Ending Power Crisis — From pledges to hopes

shamelessly every day they appear on TV and find excuses to nullify their claims of ending electricity, oops load shedding.

6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, and now hope!
