ok guys after getting in debates in many threads about shia sunni stuff, i realized that it is useless, no one is gonna change their views and besides, ramadhan is approaching and we should rather spend our time in ibadah rather than sectarian issues. so rather than the damn mods imposing a forced ban on shia sunni talk, i am proposing a self imposed ban. any one who recited la ilaha illallah muhammad ur rasul allah is enough for me to consider him/her muslim, and the finer details can be judged by Allah.
but a point to note is that i am in no way suggesting that biddah is part of islam and considering it as ok, so any one who practicies biddah and mentions it, i WILL try to point it out using words from the ulama who know inshallah. but why not just avoid any doubtful matters and go for the doubtless, such as SAUM in the month of ramadhan and worshiping our lord in the best way possible according to the sunnah of the rasul allah muhammad :saw:.
and i dont wanna name people, but i will name one, sokoon, please end your questions for this month atleast, you know your questions only ignite a war of words here and you might be sincere but your actions cause havoc on this forum.
damn mods? :-O Seems like a good way to welcome Ramzaan.

I agree!
It’s all their fault. ![]()

tandy has good heart. Yippee! Great news. That means one less AK47 toting, bomb flashing, suicider supporter. Yippee!
All Pakistani-Shias rejoice, Pakistani-Ahmadis go live your life the way you want, and O Pakistani-Christians do not worry about getting gunned down.
You all know the great news! Tandy has repented and now he has good heart.
Welcome Tandy brother, welcome back to the sane, peaceful, and tolerant life. Welcome (Khush Amdeed, Sharrafna!) Let's have a cup of tea together.

I guess its a toss up between how many love you and how many love the mods. Atleast the mods don't enter into the discussions about a death and proclaim hellfire for the dead. You are way too powerful, sir... almost god-like. Mods don't stand a chance next to you and your dire predictions.

i dont wanna get in to a debate about that because we had a loong discussion on another thread and it was proven beyond doubt that kafirs are going to hell. i dont know why you brought it up.
and besides it was a lighthearted comment about resenting the mods and now you are simply getting too personal about love and hate and accusing me of acting like god but did i ever say anything other than what is stated in the book of allah?
this discussion is getting ugly, didnt serve its purpose i guess..but i m out of these stupid discussions for now atleast....inshallah.
Well, good for you that you started the "end of infighting" by calling them "damn mods" (funny, maybe?) and then continue being insensitive about other people by your god-like declarations (he is going to hell, she is going to hell). Nothing can be proven "beyond doubt" when it comes to matters of powers of The Almighty.
You can chose to believe whatever you believe, and that is fine, but unless you are willing to be considerate to the feelings of others, you will constantly end up in trouble by invoking the ire of other members. It has nothing to do with mods. Its just your own holier-than-thou attitude. Unfortunately you don't even realize it. Maybe some day you will discover the art of polite persuation in addition to your extra ordinary knowledge. Thats all. :)
You guys are hilarious.I say keep discussing .Try to be polite, especially since Ramadan is coming up.
How I love the religion forum.
MQ: C'est la vie! :)
Nothing personal. ;)
Faisal, religion forum main ankhein marthe sharm nahen ati app ko.:o
May I use that adjective that thandy used, to describe the mods? (lol) I hope, that during Ramadan people will be polite in this forum. No hurling insults, or having fist fights etc.
Nah I say they should kiss and make up. ![]()
Call a truce till the end of Ramadan and then continue where they left off from on eid.

ok if ppl are offended by the damn word then i take it back but really, i dont think damn is such a big curse word and i didnt think ppl would get offended. i dont use other curse words and damn doesnt seem that bad. any how come talk to me in person and inshallah you will find me polite and i have never angered any one in person, it is just that online we can take the liberty of being little strong on our positions but nowhere do i assume powers of God, where did i say of anything that i had not proof from quran and sunnah? he is going to hell she is going to hell thing was straight from quran wasnt it? did i ever say anything out of ordinary? dont i just qoute from quran? so why the resentment? if u are accusing me of being inconsiderate of others views, then others need to better tell me what their views are, i am willing to learn and accept as long as it is from quran and sunnah. if it is not, then i would be away from it. is it too extreme to ask for? i dont think so, inshallah we all can learn from each other but we should not let our desires guide us, but rather only follow quran and sunnah.
jazakallah thandy.

I think the whole point boils down to simple decency. If someone is already dead, then we should leave their affairs between Allah and them. They are no longer in any position to correct mistakes they made, so its only Allah who is now the Final Judge. None of what you say will make an iota of a difference. Whatever you say, just aggrevates the people who admire that person for their generosity or whatever. Ofcourse, if you strongly believe that the person is not worth any prayers, or that praying for them is wrong, per se, then just leave that discussion (you have already made your point several times). Thats truly a practical step you can take to "end the infighting". Its like going to janaza and then start shouting that the dead guy is a liar and a crook. Ok, he may be all that and more, but why bring it up when he is already dead and increasing the heart-ache of his family. Its all simple decency, as I said earlier.
However, if you are talking to someone alive and telling them what a grave sin "shirk" is and thus they should enter the fold of Islam, its considered "da'wah" and is a truly a worthy effort (if done properly).
^^ Faisal, that is a good point, explain to me how the dead people can be used as Waseela than? :)
Nah, don’t want to start another “infighting”. Its the time to end it, remember? ![]()
You should not ask for dead people :nono3:

I think this is a whole new debate. One would think that of all people a (damn?) mod would have more sense than to bring controversy to a thread started in the interest of peace. When I hit the reply button I was going to answer this very lame regurgitation but realized soon enough that that would be counter to the post of the initiator of this thread. If only Faisal showed the same 'simple decency' that he so advocates for others.
