They did not predict the end of the world, but the end of the world as we know it. So perhaps a breakdown in the existing world order, or a world war, who knows.

Thats right. The Mayan calendar does not predict that world will end on Dec 21st. Just that a new era will begin. A New World Order.

Also if the bloody Spanish hadnt massacred all them Mayans, they would have finished their calendar.
