I need ideas for a gift for my monkeys teacher. He is a huge maple leaves fan so i found this maple leaves toaster which turned out to be out of stock and also a bit expensive. So now i was thinking of making a bbq basket with assortment of grilling sauces for him or this <data:blog.title/> with a staples gift card for him (amount???)

Anything homemade is AMAZING! I have all my homemade bookmarks and cards from the kids. I dont know what the standard amount for gift cards is as iv had gift cards from £300 to £10 from the parents. So it depends.

I am sure he'd like whatever you give him. I have gotten gift cards for coffee shops and target. I honestly prefer those over staples or other stationary places but again it is really nice of the parents for their thoughts and gifts. I have also got gifts from a Mary Kay foot massage kit, personalize tot bag to chocolates.

how much amount should i give in gift cards. Last time i gave him his fav. brand of tea and chocolates along with a note handwritten by monkey.
What type of food items can i give other than chocolates?

Fruit bouquets , like edible arrangements (but EA is a bit pricey....not sure i there's a cheaper alt available)

If you are going to give food gifts, please do think of something other than chocolates, I get about 20 boxes of chocolates and I just give them out to my family as I cannit eat that many chocolates nor do I want to! A fruit basket sounds good, or a tea hamper. I would love a tea hamper!
I remember reading an article last year about teacher gifts and how much money is spent of them these days. I can honestly say that most teachers just appreciate a homemade card, I know I do. Most of my gifts I just hand out to my family, in fact, my siblings look forward to getting all the chocolates and jewellery I really dont want to wear!

i usually make EA bouquets myself for game nights, they are so easy to make. I will try to upload a picture when i make it. thank u for the idea.
