End is near for the Shahid Afridi ERA

In 76 days from now, the World T20 2016 final will be held.

Shahid Afridi has been playing international cricket for 7,047 days, which means that the world will only witness just 1% of this era that has defined a whole country for the last 20 years.

A childhood hero, a superstar, the only one we’ve really had for the last 5 years or so and he will be retired.

The last man from the 1999 WC squad and the biggest superstar of Pakistan Cricket ever since Imran and Wasim

:jhanda:

PS I will definitely cry a river when Lala will play his last match !

END OF AN ERA

Re: End is near for the Shahid Afridi ERA

Patchy brilliance and inconsistency with the bat will always define his career for me

had talent but underachieved with the bat in both limited overs formats imo

a defensive captain. not as aggressive or innovative as some (read pakpassion) make him out to be.

Re: End is near for the Shahid Afridi ERA

Afridi's career is a circle - there is no beginning, and no end.

Re: End is near for the Shahid Afridi ERA

In the last ball of 37th over it was a 2. Took only one.

1ST ball of 37th over was 3. Took only 2.

Sorry wrong thread. Can someone move this and next post to 3rd ODI thread
