Encounter with Pakistani Police

Re: Encounter with Pakistani Police

These stories are really sad guys. The police are supposed to stop injustice, not be part of it.

Re: Encounter with Pakistani Police

with a salary of 4000 rupees per month and a wife kids to support, what motivation do they have to stop injustice?

Re: Encounter with Pakistani Police

Morality?

A sense of duty?

Re: Encounter with Pakistani Police

so then whats the point of having police?

These guys should have a sense of duty, morality and justice.

These guys are more dangerous than the criminals they are suppose to protect us from.

Re: Encounter with Pakistani Police

Anyone who has lived in Karachi would not feel an ounce of pitty for even the worse thing that happens to the police there. Ofcourse there are always exceptions but generally they are among the most hated people in Karachi and for good reason.

They should be rounded up and dropped in some desert far far away.

Re: Encounter with Pakistani Police

xcuse me…u think those police ppl r feeding their children.:naraz:

make ur beliefz STRONG first…then DEFEND rong deeds :hoonh:

(u must know their is no where writtern in Quran n also in Hadith dat poor will b forgiven n rich wont.) :snooty:

(i cant get y ppl restrict their beliefs, which should b utter n only restricted to 5 time prayer…trust me applying them to ur normal life u will c a whole new and different perspective every day:) )

Re: Encounter with Pakistani Police

oh yes we had an encounter with our LPD (lahore police department) .. it was my brother actually

Since he was newly married he dint have the marrige papers with him and he was out with bhabhi at night .. he was signalled to pull over.. this is when he decided to make a runner  .. eventually he got pulled over.. then argument went on for a while.. when my bhabhi saw one the policemen trying to sneak in a bag of some powder in the boot of our car  tsk tsk..

Re: Encounter with Pakistani Police

give them landcruisers, pajero, bmws, mercedes! they will do their job!

if they don't hav better cars then how can they chase criminals.

whey you have to feed yourself you don't care where the money is coming from.

if they get good pay then they will not beg for money!

Re: Encounter with Pakistani Police

I think even the richest in Pakistan are still out to rob people, and do wrong things to get more money. Giving them more money is not the answer. They need to be carefully selected and trained. Pakar ke le aathay hain police waalon ko gaon se, and they're not trained properly.

On top of that, the ghattiya things these police officers do - some of them are the worst criminals - they rape and molest kids. Some of them belong behind bars.

Re: Encounter with Pakistani Police

Through corruption and wrong means

Ok how does strong belief helps you pay for house rent, utility bills, household expense, arranging for gifts at weddings of close relatives, and then saving some money for childrens education and marraige ?

When your salary in not enough to meet even half of these expenses you got to do something to arrange fund for your family. Since most people dont know that policemen in pakistan are on 24 hour duty. I am not making this up this is a fact. So police officers can not possibly do a part time job.

If God forbids you have to visit a police station in pakistan you will find officers taking a nap on makeshift beds and most of the police stations the furniture and sitting arrangement are deploreable. There are air conditioners only for high ranking officers, even the incharge of a police station has to sit under a cieling fan, in the harsh weather.

In short, if you dont live in the country, dont acknowledge the ground facts then it is none of your bloody business to poke your nose and criticise them.

Re: Encounter with Pakistani Police

Exactly..i fully agree with Mr Code Red…

This scholar of islam ..dont know that there is hadees of prophet(pbuh) that poverty will bring a man to kufr…

thsese ..while sitting not in pakistan ..dont know that how poor these plocemen while standing 8 8 10 10 hours on roads with 46 degree celsius…they just want lip talk …nothing constructive…

keep your Scotland Yard rules to yourself…not in Pakistan…

Re: Encounter with Pakistani Police

:layd: i jus know one thing ALLAH SWT is the Sovereign and Prophet Muhammad PBUH is his last messenger. rest i have no idea.

for ur 24 hrz duty, first that duty is same as every other work. (if these police ppl really have problems, did they ever took ny measurements against those problems, i mean protest or strike?). but hey! i m not a police woman but i also do travel a lot on buses around 30-40 degree wearing scraf n proper dressing (an hr 4 times a day). (amazingly ppl around me n ma family think i m crazy :D). i don know wat ma religion says, neither i ever involved to find out whther i should wear it or not i jus happen to wear it, even on hot glowing day. i have utter belief on ALLAH SWT dat he wont let me feel hot n ALLHUMDULLAH i havent ever. so again make ur belief stronger.

n for ur gifts…materialistic ppl seek materialistic life…they don care who u r…so if u give them ny gift they r happy if u don give them they don care. so gifts have more value then humans. whereas i believe gift could b ny thing. a leaf, a stone, a collage ny thing u not necessarly have to have a solitaire ring, coach bag or raybanz glasses (though from leaf to armani everything works for me :D) all u need to show is passion. i dont even bother to think of wasting my risk-e-halal on ***** relatives.

or koe job asan nahi hoti. but if they have sense of duty from their first day n again wid UTTER BELIEVE ON ALLAH SWT dat i wont die from hunger. success will b urz. (u better consult for a wakia of Hazrat Suliman when he invited every living creature. prepration started yrz before the actual celebration day. but on the actual day, one giant whale came n ate every thing. so we ppl n those constables are just a way to feed other humans. we r not animals but even them can b made to nourish their children like human. chek the history of Namrood (who was ruler during Hazrat Ibrahim AS). SO EITHER U USE U’R COMMON SENSE or n other option is to keep quite. (indeed Ignornace is bliss sometimes, but plz don don garbage ur parents money :bummer:)

furhtermore i have worked in fully airconditioned rooms n with hot glowinng flames in stovy kinda room n i also lived widout eating for many days. but ALHUMDULLAH i have passed those tiny hurdles. still many are on their way.

but this is life. which is indeed not FAIR. but heres the question y we even have receptors? as r poor constables have to stand for 24 hrz in a working stove kinda condition. (dude u better make fool some one else…i also have tried this thing..
:d being on 24 hrz duty doesnt mean u r on actually performing duty) btw doc have worst to face then this. go to ny govt hosiptal they r not only glowing, but they also stink.:teary1: n worst is to c dreadful things over n over again.

u r points agreeing upon that watever these constables do is right thing to do.

but i think u wasted u several yrz on education. as a business analytic i believe they r betteroff standing in 24 degree celsius then 100 degree celsius boiling water dat gonna b pour on them in hell. u better consult some scholar for this hadith dat i studied in grade 2 :d

in short, YES I M BLESSED. wat i can do, feel n hear not every happens to experience. so its not ur fault:)

n u sounds like as if u r part of them:hoonh:

Re: Encounter with Pakistani Police

plz DONT spread ur wordz of wisdom :D…to b honest i feel pity for u. u r not only degrading ur selves but also calling my COUNTRY, kitsch :naraz:

i asked u to consult a scholar cuz not everyone use common sense.otherwise FINDING ALLAH SWT is not hard. HE IS EVERY WHERE. chek cell division (dat actually divert my approach) look at ur fingers. hear the water. hence everything on earth will make sense to u. similarly u will able to distinguish between good n bad. oh well its true ppl who wana see truth they will see so , if not then nothing can take away the blackness in front of their eyes.

if living in pk gives u permit to do every good n bad stuff…then u r rong… these challanges r put in front of u to chek strongness of ur iman. :hoonh:

Re: Encounter with Pakistani Police

A cousin of mine was taken to local station because some *waqua *took place in the vicinity. No the cousin didn't have any earlier offence, no prior brushes with the law he just happened to be in home when police came knocking on door and they said you have to come with us for questioning. Later an uncle intervened because he could throw some weight around so he brought the guy back home. Pakistani police doesn't give much chances and the right to remain silence or lawyer bit is well non existent?

Re: Encounter with Pakistani Police

One of my friends when he was some 13-14 years old was driving a bike to buy some milk. A policeman stopped him and asked how much money he had? This friend had 12 rupay 75 paisay with him (for the milk), which the police man kept. I mean 12.75 rs is the lowest bribe I have ever heard.

On the other hand I also remember back in 2000 I was in Karachi for a friends wedding among some other friends who came from out of the country. We were in four different cars. We went to Shahra e Faisal to money changer. Now at 11 o'clock in the morning it is next to impossible to get a parking in that road. We all parked the cars in no parking zone thinking it will be alright because we will be coming back in 10-15 minutes and also normally you don't get fines in land cruiser, 2 bmw and a Merc. Guess we were totally wrong. When we came back one officer was writing tickets, He asked for our licenses only two of the guys had pakistan drivers licenses. He wrote tickets for the other two drivers for driving without international license. When a friend tried to talk to him about some deal/bribe by keeping his hand in his pocket, the officer said move your hand immediately out of your pocket or you can be jailed for suggestion of bribe to a police officer. This guy made such an impact that we actually thanked him in the end.

I have travelled a lot on national highway, and I have never seen a police officer wasting your time. They stop you check the papers and let you go at once.

So I guess not all are bad there are some officers who take their duty seriously.

Re: Encounter with Pakistani Police

when people have nothing worth to discuss…then they behave like you !!!

plz…be a doctor in Pakistan and be here…instead of earning pounds and dollars in West…then i will know ..where is allah …where to find Him…what challenges you face etc etc…

leave it and serve your own country..then tell me… being ruined in front of masters give more respectful earning or relatively less in respectable manner in pakistan…OK

Re: Encounter with Pakistani Police
