This is something I wanted to comment on before. It’s pretty common for us to look up names and their meanings online. But it’s important to note the source of the information you’re getting. Most of the websites I’ve found aren’t from any reliable source, and it is rare for them to provide etymologies. The information may be incorrect (intentionally or unintentionally). There are a lot of names I liked but I just didn’t go with because we just couldn’t be sure of the meanng (and often we didn’t know which language and so could not look it up). I wouldn’t name a baby based solely on information from such sites.
Books are more reliable since at least they’ve been reviewed and checked somewhat.
