One of my online friend who belongs to UK, who is 18 years old told me she has got the job. In my reply to her message, I wondered if it is the right age for employment? Here is an excerpt from the message I sent to her:-
I am glad that you have got the job but at this young age? Kia zaroorat thee? Parhna naheen hai aage? And above all which kinda job have you got? I think that this age is not for doing a job. Europe and America have yet to wake up to this fact that their economies are pushing teenagers to work while the requirement of their age is to see the world and go through books! Yes, we the people and governments in the under-developed world can digest the allegations of Human Rights violations.
While a child at 3 loves to play at home than going to school, a teenager requires to observe and enjoy the world and learn through books and other means instead of doing a job. This is the classic version of putting people to their places as per their age brackets that I support. What do you think?
