Entering the gate and what’s allowed in is not airline’s responsibility… its TSA the security that doesn’t allow water or any liquid passing thru the gate. Emirate doesn’t have any say in it. I have seen people take milk bottles thru security but the security ask them to taste the milk in front of them.
