hey im going to pak soon using emirates and there is a 2 hour stop over..i was wondering if anyone has been on a similar flight with a 2 hour stop in dubai…how was people’s experience of it…and also how did you find the whole experience on emirates??
i don't think you can leave the airport on a 2 hour stopover so you will have to spend your time in the airport terminal...so not really sure what to say about the experience... i flew on emirates last year and the experience is good but i was expecting it to be really great but was a bit dissapointed
This year we have the new EMIRATES terminal 3 with better terminal facilities. Even if you have just a 2 hour stop over it will not be bad. Better terminal, better staff, better facilities, better stay. Emirates Airlines is the best airlines.
Before anyone says this, No I am not a P.R professional and NO I am not working for Emirates or lobbying for them.
I had a 1.5 hr stopover in Dubai but had to spend it at the airport but it went by fast.. i had my Ipod, a good book and munchies.. and i think by the time I made it to the gate they were already boarding the flight for lahore :).. so time flewwwwww
2 hours is nothing, but its nice to have proper wudhu facilities and decent prayer rooms in the airport. If u r lucky you will have a few mins in the duty free if u need stuff like CHEESE (yes u read correctly) and chocolates or toiletries etc.
As mentioned before, 2 hours is definitely not enough to leave the airport. In fact, if your incoming flight gets delayed by an hour or so, you might have trouble catching your onward connection.
The good thing is: Emirates flights don't get delayed very often, so the likelihood of that happening is quite small.

Wow! You are not the only person who takes cheese to Pakistan. We do too all the way from London!! :D
You literally wont even notice 2 hours fly by. The last time i visited pak i had a 7 hour stay, thankfully we have family in dubai who took me home, fed me and took me out for a bit, but on the way back from pak i had to spend the hours in the airport on my own...its gets boring. wireless internet saved me :)
