For the Opera, i usually just wear something classy, be it a nice dress or a suit…but stick to something more on the formal side… i remember once i went and there was this woman who must have been 40+ and she was wearing a lyrca pink clubbing style top with black leggings… i guess she must have felt comfortable and happy in it… but it just looked odd :bummer:

always wear formal clothes to the opera, unless told otherwise

A classic black dress would work perfectly. If you feel that the black is too 'blah' you can always accessorize more daringly.
