I lost my drivers license a while back and I need to get into a place with tight security tomorrow… they require any form of state ID… passport, etc etc. My passport is in the locker and getting it out is not an option right now.. does anyone know if theres another route to attaining a non drivers state ID within 24 hrs?

When I applied for my Driving License I also applied for the State ID along with it just in case, so I had 2 forms of State Identifications but they can't be used @ the same time they can just be used in place of each other. So if one gets lost I can always use other for the time being. State ID is similar to driving licence but it just says State ID. I am on a work visa here so I have a number of other forms of IDs and I am not sure abt ur specifics so can't give you much advise. Can't you use ur health benefit card/Employment ID's/skool ID's/credit cards with photos etc.

Skittlez, usually they can give you a temporary ID right away. Here in WA state, it's a computer generated little card with your picture on it and the official stamp etc.

Your birth certificate, social security card and some kind of photo id , like credit card with photo or school issued photo card might get you in.

In NY and many states now they do not give you photo id right away.
The temporary does not have photo.
