most politicians with real chance of getting to power will be secretly happy to see cj put in his place. one reason nawaz acted against cj under his rule because cj was opposing nawaz on terrorism legislation. as for bb, she did not allow mqm karkun to get to court. under her rule, people were shot dead in encounter killings.

Dozens of our superior justices now seem to be falling in line as well, and have taken a new oath under the new PCO, including:-

ALL of the 5 judges of the Balochistan High Court.
MAJORITY (7 of 13) of the Peshawar High Court judges.
MAJORITY of the Lahore High Court judges i.e. 13 have already and 5 more will.
4 judges of the Sindh High Court.
4 judges of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

So 38 Judges have taken (or will take) an oath on the PCO. There goes some people’s hopes of judicial unity in face of the new order.
