The worst ever flood of Pakistan’s history displaced 3.5 million of people, caused 1500 casualties and massive damage at a wider scale. Thousands of people have been displaced; their houses washed away and are left helpless under the open sky. Stranded people needed food, clothes, medicines and other necessities of life on urgent basis.

The flood affectees can not be left alone and it is our religious and national duty to help them in this hour of trial.

Minhaj Welfare Foundation has launched its relief and rehabilitation operations to help the flood affectees who are stranded in water following massive downpour that hit parts of Punjab, Khyber Pukhtunkhawa and Balochistan. A special fund with the initiation amount of Rs 5 million has been established in that regard.

Minhaj Welfare Foundation has established relief camps throughout the country. Tent settlements were being set up and relief goods began to be dispatched to the flood affected areas. The process of setting up temporary tent settlements, he said, had begun in Kamra, Attock and Mianwali.
Minhaj Welfare Foundation has allocated a fleet of its five ambulances for the relief and rehabilitation efforts of the flood affectees. This service having first aid medical facility would be available for the people of affected areas.
