I’m new to this forum, but finding it very helpful! I’m looking to get an emerald green gharara made for my sister’s wedding…I want the old-style glamour look…so I’m thinking of having it with sort of antique gold kadai and maybe a hint of pink or gold running through it…please help! I don’t know know the different kind of embellishments/embroidery you can get on outfits…what is dabka work? Zari etc? And what could look good? I want the bottom and top to both be emerald green as i think one block colour streamlines the look and makes you look slimmer But I’m thinking that another colour should be introduced so was maybe thinking of like a rose pink in the embroidery and ghot and in the dupatta to be rose pink too?
I live in the UK…are there any designers from Lahore that could make this and how much would something like this cost?
Congrats on your sister’s wedding. Select the kaam and style you like of a particular outfit, then get the designer to change the colours to your required taste. You’ll find many GS designers listed in the Bazaar Talk section.
