Can people plz give me tipz on embroidery az in school am making a fishtale lengha and
i want to do real good embroidery on it, i dun no how i am gona start of with the embroidery

well first of all have a fishtail cut for ur lehnga kupra...when its cut in that shape go for putting some thuppas near the bottom ,front etc...the thuppas should be big enough to cover a larger area...for the thuppa selection,use the one on which u can do some very elegant bareek work of cut dana sitara etc..this looks really lovely...
ok when thuppas r on the fabric ..start working first for the embroidery ...use self colours as well as the combination/contrasting colours...hmmm make sure the colour of ur fabric is very light like ferozi...on light colour jo b ap kaamkr ogaye wo buhut acha luggayga daikhnay mai...ok ferozi clr hai ager to ussk sath royal blue purple golden aisay shades mai thread lay kur in k sath emboridery kro aur phir emboridery k baad motti sitara nugh cutdana..in sub k sath sequins bnaao motives bnaao..net say design uthao apko khudh he idea hojayega...its very tough thing to do aur issk liay bara time chiyea ...but ek achi cheez reayd hojayegee apki...

I am planning to use light scarf material nd my colour will be soft peachy pink…nd i wil be using diamond (Motiyaan) silver colour, how do u think this will look

thuppa is basically a stamp, nd for the embroidery etc u can call thuppa ‘block print’ its like u get the design on the material then work on it with threads , beads , or even fabric paint… i do these things alot. i’ve made loads of duppata’s with fabric painting but dunno wt to do with em.. i jus love doin Art stuff.. nowadays im puttin sitaaray on a kameez.jus b4 that i made a table cloth with karhaai on it, n some sitaaras it looked good :). mumz got it in her lounge.. hav loads of pots n matkas in my house, deco wid different stuff..
nd the combo u said peachy with moti etc will look fab… send in the pic after finishin
