whats the price of shirt only at needle impressions bcz i believe this way they r selling it..bottom and dupatta is our headache..whether we buy it from them or from outside ..right?

Needle impressions are selling fabric shirt front for 2300-2900rs on average.some are more that 3000rs as well which i have not got any yet. The fabric for back is for 420rs separate with them. The prices stated are for 2 complete stitched suit with dyed dupatta,pants/shalwar,sleeves and lining. If someone opts for similar embroidered sleeves,those charges are extra as the fabric in that case will be more. My tailor is charging me around 950rs for a complete stitched suit.

Yes.plain chiffon sleeves in the specified prices. For embroidered sleeves using the fabric as the shirt's front,that would add to the price.

yaar, i have very little imagination and cant "picture" what a kurti would look like :) (hopeless i know!!!) do they sell them ready made in the shop or do u have to purchase the kapra and have it made by the durzee?

A )current rate for the 60 g raw silk shalwar that you purchase from the market,
B) the current rate for pure chiffon dupatta to go with these clothes,
C) 60 g chiffon back. if ur buying just the back it must be cheaper right?
D) and what material do u purchase for the lining( i think u said medium silk) and wats the price for it ?
knowing this would be of big help since ppl like me dont live in pakistan and once we do go we wont get ripped off!

.Paisley: the rates i tell you today might not be the same as what is was yesterday or what it will be tomorrow. 60 grams chiffon varies from 210-240 per yard undyed. At needle impressions they sell it for 280 per yard dyed and at threads and motifs for 250 per yard. It is usually 1.75 yards for a back and sleeves.
Pure Raw silk is almost in the same range.medium silk is 165-185 per yard. I hope you can calculate the cost now :). Let me know if you want the dyeing charges as well.the petrol here is 70rs+ per litre; CNG is 58rs per kg and the temperature here is 45 degrees plus and most of the times when you reach the market,there's no electricity and you have to wait for upto 45 mins to make sure you select the right colours in proper light. For completing an outfit, it involves on an average two trips to the shop-one to get pics/samples and one to buy it; one trip to get the fabric for dyeing,two to the dyer to drop and pick the fabric,two to the tailor and one to the the post office which is on mall road Lahore..if you are familiar about mall road,there usually are rallies and processions againist load shedding,inflation,etc every second day as assembly hall and WAPDA house are situated there. This explanation may seem unimportant but it matters esp when you are getting stuff for someone else. I am describing it in detail so that you can consider the lateral effort behind it when you calculate the cost of the outfit from the rates of the fabric :)
I would repeat that PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THESE VARY ON MY EVERY NEXT VISIT. They sell it according to the dollar exchange rate. Hope that was satisfying :) I could have replied to this via a PM like most of other users here but I wanted to take it as an opportunity to explain what it takes homebased designers to make an outfit apart from buying the fabric :)

I have tried confronting with 3 of them already :halo: I am not against anyone selling it but I put in some effort (to request the people at shop to let me take pics) and a lot of money (for buying the fabric in order to put up pics for you guys to select from) and NO WAY I would like anyone using them for their purposes !
