New to me, these embroidered car doors by Lithuanian textile artist Severija Incirauskaite-Kriauneviciene who has an enormous body of work involving stitched objects including bowls, irons, lamps and much more.

I have seen this embroidery on cloths. Crazy people doing on cars lol :2guns:. They just want to earn fame or may be they are interested to do such stuff. :mad: :rotfl:

No, but it still looks nice. And its not like its meant to have a practical use. Its just recycling something old into something new. Same with half the art in The Tate Modern!

lethal kamikaze what do you consider a good way to spend time?
A lot of people would say creating art is a waste of time. So is studying or even working.
Why bother when it seems stupid/meaningless?

It is art because somebody took the time to create it not for your understanding.

There are many other good way to spend time rather than this i.e. embroidery on car door. I think 'art' is like knowledge. That 'knowledge' which benefit others.

I knw that somebody took a lot of time or maybe spent days to come up with this but do u think anyone will going to replace it with something placed on his of her home's wall.

You’re mistaken.

Art is an expression of feeling, thought and yes imagination.

For instance Guernica by Picasso

it was about the bombing of Guernica now many thought of Picasso as a waste of time but really it was just another way of expressing art
Same with Fountain by Marcel Duchamp

He put a urinal inside an art gallery which outraged the art community because it was never done before but it changed the way of how people thought about contemporary art.

I can give you several other examples but this will do for now.
Art is not just to look at and find it pretty.
There is always a meaning to it, a purpose.

In that case one should keep that art to him or heself. Why to show/display others/ in public.

But still that art is totally ‘dabba’ and I don’t consider it as an ‘art’.
