Okay so I’ve decided that I want to be creative for Eid-ul-Fitr this year so mum has agreed to assist me by helping me with the sewing and with the embroidary/beading.
I was wondering if anyone can tell me what’s in? I’m totally unaware of desi trends at the moment.
Judging from previous posts I’ve looked out I’ve come to a half-conclusion that long kameezes, buttons (how big?!), churidars and shalwars that are quite baggy (bell bottoms?!), are all in, until further notice
What are the trends in embroidary/beading etc? What about laces, mirrors etc?
Any trends that I should really avoid?
I’m based in the UK and although we have many shops up and down the UK I’ve thought about the fact there is a recession so if I can save on something I’m being clever as I usually end up leaving things to the last minute and buy clothes clearly not suitable for my curvy frame as all the nice suits go quickly.

yes really Big or as big as u wanna go,
***Embroidery is mainly dhaga work on necklines, huge work extending down on the neck was in last year still continuing.
Anchoring work is a thicker form of dhaga work and its in for casuals or semi-fiormals.
On the fancy side, i think silver work is really in these days many people also opting for something different and going for a silver-golden combination.
*****laces are in form of wide ribbbons atleast 1-2 inches or more across sewn onto the daman of the kameez may include back of the shirt too and also on the neckline and on the sleeves. Mirror work is always in, though there's more of a trend towards heavier damans this year and keeping necklines simpler.*

well nowadays big daamans r back in fashion. but A-line shirt should be slim at the waistline and then go on to have big daman. with aazars. Azars are wide pants.
and nowadays many people putting on crochette laces on clothes instead of the satin ribbons.
Also kaftans are also in fashion
And A-line shirts with drop down corners.
Hope this helps
These unfortunate incidents are not only happening in Textile Industry but also at factories where large labour force is working. Normally such incidents occur due to negligent behaviour of the senior management towards the workers.
There is certainly pressure on the entire Textile Industry due to recession in the domestic and international market. Job cuts have become normal phenomena in the textile factories. There is a high level competition among the workers to retain their jobs within. However, with the in-house training of the workers, this will be overcome soon.
