Embarrassing

Re: Embarrassing

Sara, nothing to be embarrassed about. Most stinky feet issues stem from damp/wet shoes, be it from sweaty feet or walking through puddles. The idea is to keep your shoes dry. Damp shoes are a safe haven for bacteria which cause the stink. One of the recommended things is to have 2-3 pairs of daily use shoes, don't wear the same shoes every day. This gives each pair ample time to dry out properly. Secondly, try sprinkling a little baking soda in each pair, this absorbs dampness and stink. Finally, if shoes are really stinky, let them dry out nicely, seal them in a plastic bag, and put them in a freezer. The cold kills all the stinky bacteria.

I hope this helps.
