I am so used to automatic doors - Most stores, my parking garage, hotel connected to it, my office building etc have automatic doors - that I sometimes forget that manual doors are still out there.
I went to a store with my Mrs. and sister for shopping. After we were done, it was time to get out. I was leading them. I came to the door and stopped. I waited for about 5 seconds for it to open but it didn’t. My wife asked me what I was thinking? I said nothing, I am waiting for the door to open. I still hadn’t realized that this was not an automatic door. She said this is a MANUAL door, you are not at work. I was like oh yeah and then embarrassed, I opened it and we left
