There have been several discussion on this forum regarding security and need not start new one.
RISC; with all due respect I must procounce you a Microsoft "Emotional" Bigot. You hate Microsoft with passion and your emotions are getting the best of you. Even if they did everything right, you will still hate them.
Please broaden your horizon and try to look at all aspect through an unbiased and broad vision. Otherwise you will just pigeon hole yourself.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. I have been using Hotmail with Outlook Express for the last five years or so.

So are your emotions. As long as you love Outlook you are considered normal I presume. If you bothers to read you would realise it was some Outlook Charail who started the name calling and hoops to run through with "show me proof" while never putting ay forward himself.

What do I need to prove to you?
Millions of users and 1000s of big and small companies around the world use outlook. Isn't that a proof by it self? But you would rather overlook that fact and push your own shallow and unsubstantiated claims and assumptions forward WITHOUT any proof. In my almost 10 years in IT, I've never had or heard of an issue which caused WHOLE NETWORK to go down which was caused by outlook. Never heard of an issue or hacking involving outlook and its security holes.... that you talk about.
You use a client which is for experts someone who KNOWS linux/unix commands... it is not for average users and how many companies use it for as their email client?
You use client which you did not design yourself...
Then you have audacity to come here and make big claims that there are bugs and security issues with outlook and ONLY YOU KNOW about them is just ridiculous. Such boastfulness does not serve right to someone who is "an expert" in linux or unix, you need to give credit where its due. If you can't do that then shut up and put up - your vi or macs sh!t isn't going main stream anytime soon.

Take it never heard of virus, targeting outlook in some instaces generating 1/3of all traffic. Which did bring down WHOLE networks

You seem to forget rather quickly.

Rest of post is just rubbish created to avoid the real issue:
WHICH SECURITY HOLES exist in CURRENT version of outlook? List them. No 6 year old articles, no microsoft website, YOU list them. If you can’t then shut up and stop inventing lies. You do have the right to an opinion, you also have a right to make an ass out of your self by boasting about threats that do not exist but you do not have the right to make biased and UNSUBSTANTIATED comments regarding an application which YOU DO NOT USE.
PS: Don’t quote every word that I write, it doesn’t help you and it doesn’t hide the fact that you have biased opinion when it comes to Microsoft and its products.
