Emails Software by Microsoft

Re: Emails Software by Microsoft

A vulnerability was reported in Microsoft Outlook. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user’s system.

The software does not properly decode Transport Neutral Encapsulation Format (TNEF) MIME attachments. A remote user can send a specially crafted TNEF message that, when previewed or opened by the target user, will trigger a buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the target user.

No user interaction is required.

You would know a preview is where you click on a e-mail for actions. NOT OPENING.

Now how does that make Outlook so secure? or you going to open more BS from that mouth of yours.
