With respect to email notifications regarding blogs or blog comments, why is it that I only receive a few email notifications for some of the comments posted in my blog, and not all of them.
So let’s say 10 people have replied in my blog, I only receive notifications for like 6 of those comment entries. This also happens when I’ve subscribed to another blog, and only receive some of the comment notifications.
Is there any way for this to be fixed? Or is website just selective like that?

cadet - i’ve read the entire email. duhh 
i just don’t get why it does that? why can’t the system notify me anytime there’s a new comment or blog made?
oh, and even if i do log in..it still doesn’t notify me after that 
so this ‘real’ issue needs to be fixed

this is to save bandwidth and avoid being tagged as spam. on large forums, its easy to get thousands of email a day and not everyone would have marked us as safe senders.

Only one email is sent out till you go visit that thread. Once you visit another ONE email is sent out. So if 10 posts were made and you received 6 responses then you must have visited that thread 4 times since the first post in the email.
