Keeping in mind writer/director Cameron Crowes earlier work (Jerry Maguire and Almost Famous) I expected Elizabethtown to be a good entertainer. Sadly it wasn’t half as good as those movies. I felt it was slow, boring…maybe too-cute. I didn’t like it.

i haven’t seen almost famous but elizabethtown’s setting and general overall feel is different than jerry maguire; the latter is glamarous and deals with multi million dollar football player’s agent and his love life; elizabethtown is about a man going back to a small town where his father grew up and finding all kinds of love for him and his family; along the way he meets a perfect stranger and grows to develop feelings for her.

Nice cute movie.....You will like it if you love long road trips in the Mid west....Reminds me of my younger days when love was in the air and had the energy to chat on phone all night and get back to work next morning !
