Elizabeth Taylor died today. She lived a long and full life and gained both fame and notoriety during her lifetime.

She is called an icon and leaves behind a legacy, but a legacy of what? When you (or if you) think of Elizabeth Taylor, what is the first thing that comes to mind?

For me, it’s her incomparable beauty and her stunning violet eyes, oh and her tumultuous relationship with Richard Burton.

Yes.. Just found out .. very sad. She was certainly a beautiful and talented actress and I loved her in International Velvet where she was so young!.... God Bless her x

First thing that comes to mind is her gorgeous face....and that slender waist.
What a legend.....Elephant Walk is my most fav movie of all time.

I think the only other woman that rivalled her was Hepburn......and not well.

Audrey or Kate? I loved Audrey Hepburn, she died much too young. She was a classy, classy woman, but with a sense of fun or silly that made her appear "human".

I have a hard time picking between which lady was more classy…partially because I prefer the “innocent” and “playful” side of Audrey Hepburn. But the sultry, come-hither expressions that the likes of Sophia Loren and Taylor produced are definitely unmatched.
