Especially the mention of the ancient Greek myth with tells that originally man and woman were a joint creature, backtoback. And then the god Zeus cut them each off into two. And this is how each of them searches for the other and reunite. This is what we call the soulmate theory. I have never read such a deep philosophical work based on as common a subject as sex. And I have to admit many of it right passed above my head. I guess I might need my husband’s help to understand it fully after I have a handful of discussion exchanged with him on the book.
