My cousin in Lahore did that for his wedding last year and I’m tryna’ convince my finance to do it but he claims elephants aren’t his type -_- I know that type of an entrance can be OTT but I can’t get over how awesomely bada** that would be if I could have one at my wedding. Haye.
Anyway, anyone know any Pakistani weddings where this happened or where in Pakistan you can get one? Also, I know some Pakistani family have a rasm of the elephant entrance (def. not a punjabi/Lahori tradition) so those stories are welcome too.
No, never heard about one happening over here but it would be really interesting to go a wedding that features an elephant. Chariots are definitely done and look fab as do horses. Been to a wedding where the Rukhsati was done in a chariot here in Karachi.
I think any hot shot planner would have info regarding elephant rentals.
The weddings were all Lahori weddings. And I’m tryna figure that out too, as in where to get them. I should ask my cousin where he did it from but thought maybe there were some people here who had done so.
