A electronic visa would be enough when coming back from pakistan?
Or should i have a visa label on my passport?

Any experience?

I just dnt want to go to immi office and waste my day.

I don't know anything about Australian immigration law but if you have an Australian residence visa I don't know how coming back from Pakistan would be an issue?

No i dnt have residency yet ...but my visa is linked to my pak passport number ...and aussie immi told me to check with pak foriegn office if pak can verify a electronic visa otherwise i will hav to go immi ofice to get a label..

To be on the safe side: Get a label. You don't wanna mess with Pakistani immigration officers.

i don't get...as i under stand, you are a Pakistani Citizen holding a Pakistani Passport who had some type of visa to Australia [entered on your Pakistani Passport] and you are currently residing in Pakistan desirous of returning to Australia.

now, if your Australian Visa allows your return then you should check with Australian High Commission in Pakistan. what Pakistan has got to do with an Australian Visa? Pakistan has nothing to do with your visa. so what seems to be exact problem?

They don't even let you enter the international lounge without a ticket and a valid visa on your passport(for your destination of course).

i know but why did the Australian Consulate/Embassy advised him to contact Pakistani Authorities about the validity of the visa duly issued by them?

Not validty but when you go abroad at airport they will check your visa on ur passport ..if u look at my passport you wont see any visa on it my visa is linked to my passport number ..now some countries have access to the electronic visa data base others dont ..

Ok, now I got it. Yes you should definitely get a label. There is a very high chance that Pakistani airport authorities will NOT be able to access your electronic visa.
