Electrolysis

Has anyone done that?Any cons about it? I am thinking about doing it for upper lips.

Re: Electrolysis

I did it a long time ago, 6 sessions I believe. Didn’t help much :hinna:. Waste of $$

hmmm lets get some more experiences

Re: Electrolysis

I know you don’t care for my opinion. Fuzool mein yahaN thread kholi. I’ll delete it :barbie:

My mom had it done and was pleased with the results, which have been long-lasting even after menopause (which because of hormonal changes can trigger new hair growth.)

However, I've heard from others that laser is the best way to go now---that it's faster and more effective. Laser is especially effective for those with lighter skin tones and darker, coarser hair. I'm actually going tomorrow to get a first laser session on my upper lip. I'll let you know how it goes.

Re: Electrolysis

Get laser hair removal done. It doesn't hurt and a few sessions could eliminate the hair removing hassle all together.

Re: Electrolysis

laser hair removal will be a waste of your money on fine hair like the ones women usually have on their upper lip. electrolysis will work wonders for it. the cons will be of course pain, and the fact that it is time consuming or scars if you do not go to some professional who has lots of experience doing it. pros are that it'll get rid of your hair permanently. a friend of mine had it done on her underarms. although she should have used laser there as the area is larger and the hair coarser, she wanted it gone forever and laser hair removal is not permanent. she got little white scabs after her procedure but they healed without leaving a scar and her underarms are totally hair free now.

Hey guys,
Well, I went for my first session today of laser hair removal on my upper lip. It was super quick---took maybe one minute. It was just slightly uncomfortable--I did feel some 'zaps' but they were just quick and didn't hurt much. Afterwards I had some slight tingling but that went away after a couple of minutes.
I'm starting out with a package of 3, and will buy more after that if I need to. My next appointment is for four weeks from now----hair grows in cycles and so they recommend 4-6 treatments to ensure that all active hair follicles have been treated. I'll post again on my experience once it's been long enough for me to see what sort of results I get.

Re: Electrolysis

i am doing laser hair removal on my whole face, and they recommend 12 session minimum and max of around 15. thats one session per month.....i am on my 7th session and have noticed a reduced amount of hair overall. it takes about 4 to 5 session to notice anything, and the hair grows back minimal. in some areas my hair has gone, its my chin thats the stubborn area and still grows back, but i have another 6 session to go as 12 is recommened minimum.....its worth it so far. good luck.ooh and it doesnt hurt one bit xx it costs alot though, i have paid altogether about 600pounds, thats 1100 dollars or 65.000 ruppees for 13 sessions.
