Its no more a problem of Karachi only. Its spread all over the country. My mother went to Lahore to visit someone and she said that the loadshedding there was much greator than wut it is in Karachi. The core problem is this, that we are producing electiricity to such a lower level, plus the mismanagement and wastage of resources make the whole situation miserable. I dont see this problem getting resolved in near future.
You may be right. I am not aware of what the reasons could be for Lahore's shortage of power production, the second article I just posted shows why KESC was not "able to" produce desired amount of power (politics).
