Electric Fan

Does anyone know the long-term health effects of using the electric fan overnight? Anything would help.

Re: Electric Fan

it depletes health because you end up losing sleep due to the high electricity bill.

Re: Electric Fan

 I can’t believe I am reading this. So that’s why My health is bad.

Usually the word lol is enough to suffice my feelings but just this one plz allow me to use lola lola lola.

K u’m still laughing. :omg:

Re: Electric Fan

not that bad at all, especially if u breath from ure mouth, see when the insects that fly around in ure room fly behind the fan, they get sucked into the blades which mince the crap outta them and blast them directly into ure mouth, so u get a very high protein diet, and as with the atkins diet, during the day u won't wanna eat because ure stomach is full of crane flies and spiders, u lose weight without knowing why and u never know what's in ure stomach, never had to taste them hairy, skinny insects, save money on protein powders.
It's all good....having a fan on in the night, just remember to keep ure mouths closed..................unless u like grasshopper/cricket keema.........just messing

Do not chill with the fan for too long
It is especially not healthy if you let the fan runs all night long. Skin surface temperature of any spots that are exposed to the blowing for excessively long time drops, while epidermis blood vessels are still diastolic, this will cause abnormal blood circulation, which in turn will affect excretion of sweat, result in the adjustment of nerve center to lose balance. The internal organs and nerve system must then strengthen their work, consequently fatigue and headache may appear.

Re: Electric Fan

My sister uses the fan constantly. She wakes up with a sore body and feeling fatigue. I was trying to prove it to her that it might be the fan thats causing this.

Re: Electric Fan

get an air conditioner

Re: Electric Fan

It is not about the heat. She uses it because she is immune to the noise.

Re: Electric Fan

She isn't immune to the noise sidra.....she's accustomed to it.
She has probably developed a habit of having some background humming in the room that lulls her to sleep.
If she has the fan on and this chills her body temperature then it is possible that she may have pains and aches when she wakes up.

Either lose the fan and get something else that provides the background noise, do stretches in the morning immediately after rising (doing fajr salaat is good for this) or use a heavier blanket at night.

Re: Electric Fan

u shouldn't do any major stretching right after u wake up, as ure back will be stiff from lying down all night, give ureself 15 minutes of usual activity/walking around so as your back can loosen up, and allow blood flow to increase to the tissues in ure back(soften up) before stretching, so as not to damage ure back.

Re: Electric Fan

yes...chacha khan is right.
I should have been specific about time but I figure if I say fajr namaz then you will have spent 10 or 15 minutes with your morning hygiene routine already.
